Faith Statement

City View Baptist Church is a gospel-centered and family-focused church that is centered on the great commission of telling the good news of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to mankind, with His ultimate revelation being the Gospel message of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ through whom we find salvation. We affirm that this gift of salvation is offered to all people and that no works are required to receive or maintain this gift.

We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and it's our mission to help you explore your relationship with God, raise up mature disciples of Jesus Christ, and present His love to our community.

Join us each Sunday and Wednesday to experience the warmth of faith and the strength of our City View/Wichita Falls community.

What do we teach?

We use both the Old and New Testaments as the foundation for our faith and the inspiration for our daily lives. We put those teachings into practice at home and at work.

Serving our Lord Jesus Christ since 1929. We believe, as followers of Jesus Christ, that we are called to present His love to our community.

Membership

How do I become a member?

By Profession of Faith and Scriptural Baptism

Profess your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, request membership in our church, and receive believer's baptism.

If you profess faith in Christ from another church and have been baptized by immersion, you may join by baptism as identification with our church's beliefs and practices.

By Transfer of Letter

If you profess faith in Christ and are currently a member in good standing at another Baptist church, you may request membership.

By Statement

If you profess faith in Christ from another church, agree with the beliefs and practices of a Southern Baptist church, and have been baptized by immersion, you may request membership by a statement of faith.

Come forward during the invitation time of a regular worship service to share your desire for membership. Our staff will talk with you and assist you in completing a membership card.
